  Marion Township is a farming community in western Berks County. The historic villages of Stouchsburg and Charming Forge are found in Marion Township. The hay day of Marion Township was in the mid -1800s when the Union Canal was in operation. Stone and log based farmhouses still dot our landscape. Stone arched bridges still cross the Tulpehocken Creek and old grist mills can be seen along its’ banks.

Trash and Recycling Contract - 2024

J.P. Mascaro will be the new Trash Hauler starting on April 2, 2024

The large cans (toters) from Eagle are being kept by residents and will be honored by J.P. Mascaro for pick up.

Trash & Recycling Dates will stay the same.

To qualify for dumpster exemption please submit the (1) dumpster exemption form, (2) a copy of your business license and (3) proof of dumpster service. Remember to carefully read the exemption form and make sure you qualify. To qualify you MUST be an apartment complex of 5 units or more a farm or *a commercial property.
